If you’re ever unsure of what to eat on a Saturday then I urge you to try The Goode Life Food Co. hog roast stall in Temple Bar. A tradition of mine (when possible!) is to go to the Temple Bar food market on Saturday’s and eat here. All the food is cooked in front of you and the smell is unreal.
They do hog boxes and hog rolls. I tend to get the boxes as they are easier to eat while walking. They have pulled pork, pan fried spuds, fried onions, stuffing and gravy. They also do spud boxes which contain spuds, onions, onions, stuffing and gravy. My go to option is a spud box with added crackling. I’ve never been able to finish the box.
LP usually goes for the Famished or Savage box. Because well, he’s a savage. You could easily eat one of these between two people. I’m not sure the picture does the size of the box justice
Everything is very reasonably priced and the staff there are very friendly.
